New Write Note Feature!

**How to use the Write Note Feature! **

The Write Note field allows you to type information directly into a visit while recording or before starting a recording. Any information entered into this field is automatically included in the generated note. This feature is useful for adding measurements, copied text, or details you prefer not to dictate aloud while.

How to Use the Visit Notes Field

Open the Write Notes Field During Recording

While recording a visit, click the Pencil Icon in the Transcript Field to open the notes field.

Use this field to quickly enter supporting details without needing to speak everything into the transcript.

Add Information to the Write Notes Field

Type any information you want included in the final generated note.

Common examples include:

  • Range of motion measurements
  • Objective findings
  • Abbreviations or shorthand
  • Details you do not want spoken aloud
  • Text copied and pasted from another source
Anything entered into this field will be incorporated into note generation once you hit Comprehend!

Hide the Notes Field

To hide the notes field, click the pencil icon again.

Once hidden, the field will remain closed until it is manually reopened.

This can help reduce screen clutter during recording sessions.

Add Visit Notes Before Recording

You can also enter visit notes before starting a recording session.

If the notes field is enabled, it will stay open for future visits until you manually close it.

Keep the Field Open or Close It as Needed

After enabling the feature once, the notes field will remain open for subsequent recordings.

  • Leave it open if you use it frequently
  • Close it when you want a cleaner workflow

Before starting a new note, confirm whether the field is open or hidden based on your preference.

Best Practices

  • Use the notes field for information that is faster to type than to dictate
  • Paste in structured or copied information when available
  • Add known visit details before recording begins
  • Keep the field open if you regularly use typed notes during documentation
