Installation and Setup of iPad Chrome Extension

Key Steps:

1. Download the Orion Browser 0:19 on your iPad / Tablet

To do this follow these steps:

• Open the App Store: Locate and open the App Store app on your iPad or tablet. 
• Search for Orion: In the App Store search bar, type "Orion" or "Orion Browser by Kagi". 
• Download the app: Tap on the "Orion Browser by Kagi" app from the search results. 
• Install Orion: Tap the "Get" button to start the download and installation process. You may need to authenticate with your Apple ID. 
• Launch Orion: Once installed, you can find the app on your home screen and click it to open

2. Open the Orion Browser 0:29

• Once downloaded, open the Orion browser.

3. Download the Comprehend Health iPad / Tablet Extension 0:45

• Open Orion and copy and paste this link into the search bar: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/comprehend-mobile-emr-int/kcndddbkanlobocolpodifbmmamlkjfc.
• Click on the link to add the extension.

4. Enable Chrome Extension 1:09

• If nothing happens, go to Settings in Orion.
• Scroll down to Advanced settings.
• Enable Chrome extensions.

5. Refresh and Add the Extension 1:27

• Refresh the page after enabling extensions.
• Click 'Add to Orion' to install the extension.

6. Allow Permissions 1:36

• When prompted, allow access to the microphone and other necessary permissions.

7. Verify Installation 1:46

• Check the extensions menu to confirm the extension is installed.

8. Restart the Orion Browser 1:57

• Close and reopen the Orion browser to complete the installation process.

• Open the EMR system (e.g., Jane).
• Activate the Chrome extension by logging in.

• Ensure a visit is open in the EMR.
• Click on the activity extension to start a new visit.

• Begin recording the visit notes as necessary.

12. Upload Audio and Use Comprehend 2:52

• After recording, upload the audio.
• Click on 'Comprehend' to process the notes.

13. Confirm Completion 3:03

• Wait for the Comprehend banner to confirm that the process is complete

Cautionary Notes

• Ensure that the Orion browser is fully updated to avoid compatibility issues.
• Double-check that all permissions are granted for the extension to function properly (microphone)

Tips for Efficiency

• Keep the Comprehend Health link bookmarked for easy access.

Note:

The Comprehend extension for the iPad sits in the middle of the screen instead of on the side. The sideview for the extension is only available on a computer.
