How to Skip a Section So the AI Doesn’t Fill It In
Customize What Sections Comprehend Fills Out in Your Notes
Choose which sections you want Comprehend to complete or modify—skip any sections you prefer to fill out yourself.

Step-by-step Instructions:
1. Open your note in the EMR.
2. Open the Comprehend extension.
3. Click the '+ New Visit' button.
4. Scroll within the extension to find the section in your EMR that you want to skip.
5. Toggle to the left to Skip!
8. That’s it! The AI will now skip that section every time, and the setting will stay unless you change it 🎉
Other Response Options:
Response Option | Outcome |
|---|---|
Overwrite (default) | Erase anything that was previously in that field and add Comprehend PT’s generated note |
Skip | Do not change anything in that field. |
Add-on | Comprehend keeps the existing note in the field and adds the generated note below it. |
