# Customizing Your Notes: Adjust Format, Style, and Tone to Fit You

# Customizing your notes. How to train the AI to write notes like you would!

## ✅ Learn from Edits! (RECOMMENDED) 
### You can train the AI using the **Learn** button

* By default, the AI creates a standard note if you haven't uploaded your own examples yet.

### Step by Step: 

1. After the note is filled out **in your EMR. Make any edits you'd like (in your EMR)—**add details, delete anything unnecessary, or change the formatting.
2. Once you're happy with the note, click **Learn**. This teaches the AI your preferences based on your changes.
3. Next time, your note will be written more like your edited version—so you won't need to repeat the same edits.

### *Tip: Be sure to click **Learn** after making changes in your EMR to help the AI improve over time!*

## ✅ Manually Instruct the AI on how You wants your notes written (Great for users comfortable with tech or AI)

* If you want Comprehend to write in full sentences instead of bullets (for example), you can update the instructions directly. Just open the section you want to change, and edit the instructions. These tell the AI exactly how to write based on your recording.
